Volcanoes are formed by volcanic eruptions, and are composed of lava and pyroclastic landforms, usually in the shape of a cone, mainly composed of volcanic cones, craters and vents. Volcanoes are windows to the fiery core of the Earth, the most explosive forces on Earth.

According to the volcanic eruption material and volcanic topography, volcanoes can be divided into 6 types: shield volcanoes, slag cones, compound volcanoes, lava domes, lava plateaus and mid-ocean ridges; according to the eruption time, they can be divided into active volcanoes, dormant volcanoes and extinct volcanoes 3 categories. There are many famous active volcanoes in the world.

1. Martinique Perret Volcano

Mount Pelay is located in the northern part of Martinique in the West Indies in the eastern Caribbean Sea. It is 1,350 meters high and is the highest peak on the island. Named for the bare lava at the top. One of the most active volcanoes in the Eastern Caribbean Islands.

2. Mount St. Helens

Mount St. Helens is an active volcano, 154 kilometers south of Seattle and 85 kilometers northeast of Portland, part of the Cascade Mountains. Mount St. Helens is part of the Pacific Rim volcanic belt of more than 160 active volcanoes, known for ash eruptions and pyroclastic flows.

3. Mount Pinatubo

Mount Pinatubo is located on the island of Luzon in the Philippines, at an altitude of 1486 meters. Before 1991, Mount Pinatubo was not well-known, and no one in the area had experienced an eruption, and no historical records of the eruption had been found. The explosive eruption of June 15, 1991, was one of the world's largest volcanic eruptions of the 20th century, spewing massive ash and pyroclastic flows. The eruption lowered the height of the mountain by about 300 meters.
