Are you ready to explore one of the most beautiful and diverse states in the U.S.?

We recently set off on an unforgettable adventure in Colorado, and we can't wait to share the incredible experiences we had with you, Lykkers!

1. Rocky Mountain National Park

Our journey began in the stunning Rocky Mountain National Park, one of Colorado's most iconic destinations. With over 350 miles of trails, we were able to hike through lush meadows, forests, and rocky terrain, all while soaking in views of towering peaks. The Bear Lake area was a highlight for us, offering serene waters surrounded by snow-capped mountains. We highly recommend the Alpine Visitor Center for the best views of the park.

Ticket Price: Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park costs $25 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.

2. Garden of the Gods

Next, we explored Garden of the Gods, a breathtaking natural park in Colorado Springs. This UNESCO World Heritage site is famous for its dramatic red rock formations, and we couldn't get enough of the striking beauty of these ancient formations. We spent hours hiking the park's easy-to-navigate trails and were amazed by the vibrant contrast of red rocks against the blue sky.

Ticket Price: Entrance to Garden of the Gods is free, making it a must-visit spot for anyone traveling to Colorado Springs.

3. Pikes Peak

We then headed to Pikes Peak, a majestic mountain that inspired Katharine Lee Bates' famous song “America the Beautiful.” Reaching the summit at 14,115 feet was a challenging yet rewarding experience, and the panoramic views of the surrounding plains and mountains were absolutely breathtaking. We also took a scenic drive up the Pikes Peak Highway, where we witnessed incredible wildlife and expansive vistas.

Ticket Price: The Pikes Peak Highway costs $15 per vehicle for entry to the summit.

4. Mesa Verde National Park

Another highlight of our Colorado adventure was Mesa Verde National Park, home to some of the best-preserved Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings in the U.S. We were fascinated by the history and culture of the Native American tribes who once lived here. The Cliff Palace tour took us on a journey through ancient stone homes built into the cliffs, offering a glimpse into the lives of these early inhabitants.

Ticket Price: Entrance to Mesa Verde National Park costs $25 per vehicle, with additional fees for guided tours.

5. Colorado Springs & The Broadmoor Seven Falls

Our final stop was Colorado Springs, where we visited the Broadmoor Seven Falls. This series of stunning waterfalls cascades down a rocky canyon, creating a picturesque setting for nature lovers. We hiked the steps up to the falls and enjoyed the serene atmosphere, especially after a morning of exploring the city.

Ticket Price: The Broadmoor Seven Falls costs $16 per for access to the falls and hiking trails.
